When Ed Brooks replaced Sheryl Albers as the 50th Assembly District representative, I had hopes that he would continue in her tradition of being responsive to the constituents in that district.
He has been disappointing, in that he has followed the Republican Party regardless of their interests in funding of education, protection of the environment, new energy sources, and workers and women's rights, and many times has been unresponsive once he learned I was not of his party.

He flip-flopped on the appointment of the Department of Natural Resources secretary and took away our voice at the Capitol in favor of the Gov. Jim Doyle's veto powers. He thinks insurance companies should be able to deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions.
